The Rise and Fall of Konami

  Hi, Everybody! For my next "Rise and Fall" article, here's the story of one of the biggest gaming corporations in the world, KONAMI.  Konami was founded on March 21st, 1969 and then incorporated under the name, Konami Industry Co., Ltd 4 years later. The founder, Kagemasa Kozuki, ran a jukebox rental and repair business in Osaka before turning those businesses into a manufacturer for amusement machines, also called arcade games. Their first coin-operated game machines were made in 1978 and exported the products to the United States the following year.  It was in 1981 that Konami had achieved success with video games like Scramble, which was led to the sequel, Super Cobra and then, Frogger. Three of those games were licensed to American companies like Stern Electronics and Gremlin Industries. In 1982, Konami of America was established, which was when the corporation began to expand their video game business following a brief stint releasing the games for the Atari 2600. ...

Hi, Everybody! This here is a list of the best Nintendo games from each year, from 2000-2020. These games are in each category based on popularity and playability. If you don't see a game that you have enjoyed, share below. 2000: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Zelda's a simple game where you go in dungeons, unlock clues, fight creatures and save the princess. Majora's Mask took place 2 months after, and was released 2 years after Ocarina of Time, making it a direct sequel to the classic game. Link's personal quest takes him to Termina, a world that is parallel to Hyrule and Link learns that the Moon will crash into the world in 3 days. As play as Link, you'll try on different masks to become something different, solve complex puzzles and defeat difficult enemies. The Rise and Fall of Telltale

Hello, my fellow gamers! My name is Santiago Brion, and today I will be talking about the beginning and end of the video game studio, Telltale Games. Telltale has been making so many great games and it's such a shame that their run had to end due to controversy among developers, and so let's take a dive into the rise and fall of Telltale Games In the beginning, LucasArts was the biggest name in adventure platform games like The Secret of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango and Sam & Max. When LucasArts decided to end their adventure genre games for some reason until Disney bought LucasArts in 2012. In 2004, LucasArts developers, Kevin Bruner, Dan Connors and Troy Molander left LucasArts and made their studio in the form of Telltale Games so that they can make the adventure/episodic games that they've always wanted, becoming a big powerhouse in the gaming industry.  In 2005, Telltale released a poker game called Texas Hold Em.
